When the Left mocks Obama, come to find it's not racist

The Left has begun to mock Obama, who is the most pre-eminently mockable man ALIVE. Surprise! When the Left ridicules Obama, it’s not racist. Well, I’ll be.

The video below is from The Onion, which has just caught up with the idea that a man who must have his every remark scripted and scrolled across a TelePrompter screen is neither eloquent nor exceptionally bright. Remember, Obama is talented at getting smart people to do his homework and give him the credit. This is not the same as being intelligent himself:

Obama’s Home Teleprompter Malfunctions During Family Dinner

Now, on 11/21/09, Saturday Night Live is ripping Obama in its opening skit — Ace warns NBC is likely to take it down soon:

These satires plus Obama’s approval rating dropping below 50 percent for the first time this week mark a watershed moment in Obama’s presidency. As I noted in one of my first posts, ridicule is one of our most potent weapons for defeating Obama and his policies that are positioned as salvation, but in reality are aimed at destroying capitalism and liberty.

P.S.

Who was the woman politician SNL was making fun of last year? I thought she was really smart and pretty. Whatever happened to her? (Hee-hee-hee-hee!)

  1. The left defines bigotry by affiliations, not by actions. Sarah Palin and Barack Obama have identical views about gay marriage, but since Mrs. Palin is a Republican and Mr. Obama is a Democrat, only the former is a bigot in leftspeak. Meanwhile, Dick Cheney supports gay marriage but when confronted with this fact, leftists change the subject and calls him a pro-torture warmonger (funny how they had no problem with Ted Kennedy’s proven debauchery as long as he claimed to be pro-gay).

  2. The left does not care about bigotry except to use it as a club. There is only one known officer of the Klu Klux Klan in the United States Senate, a Kleagle by the name of Robert Byrd. Oddly, this Klansman is known as the conscience of the Senate. This can probably explain the antics of the United States Government since the end of the Reagan Presidency.

In the very early 1970’s I spent two years in a major University, gathering the credits I needed to qualify for my job. (Thank you, GI Bill.) The part-time job I had to pay the rest of the bills put me behind a thin wall — the other side of the wall had an office of a then-major leftist group. The things I heard made me refuse to believe anything out of a lefty’s mouth, ever. If a lefty tells me it’s snowing I’ll go outside in a swimming suit to work on my tan. Most times I’ll be right.
