Stop the lies about Sarah Palin

My posts about Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin are attracting enough attention from people who don’t like her based on Palin Derangement Syndrome and lies, lies, lies that I realized I was going to have to do a ton of work to de-bunk the lies and provide the truth. Then I spotted someone visiting from a group of links this blog was in on June 15 at Instapundit regarding Gov. Palin and David Letterman’s second sham apology that day. Come to find Dr. Socks already has done it.

Here’s Sarah Palin on contraception and sex ed:

“I’m pro-contraception, and I think kids who may not hear about it at home should hear about it in other avenues. So I am not anti-contraception. But, yeah, abstinence is another alternative that should be discussed with kids. I don’t have a problem with that. That doesn’t scare me, so it’s something I would support also.”

I put that right at the top of the post so you wouldn’t miss it.

This is worth repeating: Gov. Palin supports contraception and sex education.

Oh, and here’s another bit of truth worth remembering for anyone who slams Bristol Palin for getting pregnant out-of-wedlock in 2008 at the age of 17. Obama’s mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, became pregnant with Obama out-of-wedlock when she was 17. She married the baby’s father about five months after becoming pregnant (I’m too tired right now to look up the exact timeline) but the marriage should not be considered legal because Obama, Sr., was already married to a wife who was living in his native country of Kenya.

People who hate Sarah Palin are unconcerned with facts. They hate her because they want to, because it makes them feel good. Like Bush hatred, it’s an expression of partisan zeal.

The lies must be fought, however, because millions of non-partisans have been misled about who and what Sarah Palin is.

It’s really kind of funny. The folks that hate Palin based on these lies call themselves the reality based community. They are all so sure that they are smarter than us dumb ol’ hillbillies. Yet they build up these huge piles of lies and then convince themselves that these lies are true and then live by those lies.

These are the people running America right now. Their supporters cheer them on, based on those same lies.

DAVID LETTERMAN’S HATE, ETC. !

David Letterman’s hate is as old as some ancient Hebrew prophets.
Speaking of anti-Semitism, it’s Jerry Falwell and other fundy leaders who’ve gleefully predicted that in the future EVERY nation will be against Israel (an international first?) and that TWO-THIRDS of all Jews will be killed, right?
Wrong! It’s the ancient Hebrew prophet Zechariah who predicted all this in the 13th and 14th chapters of his book! The last prophet, Malachi, explains the reason for this future Holocaust that’ll outdo even Hitler’s by stating that “Judah hath dealt treacherously” and “the Lord will cut off the man that doeth this” and asks “Why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother?”
Haven’t evangelicals generally been the best friends of Israel and persons perceived to be Jewish? Then please explain the recent filthy, hate-filled, back-stabbing tirades by David Letterman (and Sandra Bernhard and Kathy Griffin) against a leading evangelical named Sarah Palin, and explain why most Jewish leaders have seemingly condoned Palin’s continuing “crucifixion”!
While David, Sandra, and Kathy are tragically turning comedy into tragedy, they are also helping to speed up and fulfill the Final Holocaust a la Zechariah and Malachi, thus helping to make the Bible even more believable!

To be honest, I’m having a hard time figuring out what you mean in your comment. Do you mean that Malachi said the Jews would be treacherous and that Zechariah said this would result in every nation turning against Israel and two-thirds of the Jews being killed and liberal comedians are hastening this by attacking an evangelical Christian and you are looking forward to it because it will validate your faith?

I approved this comment so you can be part of the discussion. But I don’t support your point of view.

One of the reasons I did the research during the fall 2008 presidential campaign that resulted in my becoming a fiscal conservative was an e-mail argument I was having with a Democratic Jewish friend of mine. I wanted to show her how dangerous an Obama presidency would be to Israel and Jews, so my research particularly targeted that. She was completely unhinged by Sarah Palin’s evangelical Christian faith because of the way she had been treated all her life by evangelical Christians — to wit, being told by them that Jews were going to hell unless they converted. I pointed out to her that evangelical Christians pretty much all tell everyone who is not in their particular church — including other Christians — that they are going to hell unless they convert to that person’s specific church and list of beliefs. But this perspective did not assauge her years of hurt and outrage.

As I recall, about 70 or 80 percent of American Jews in America voted for Obama, despite all his ties to Muslim terrorists and people who hate Israel who now hold important positions in the State Department with the intention of bringing about Israel’s destruction. However, about 70 or 80 percent of American Jews in Israel voted for McCain/Palin, which I attribute to them knowing who their friends were.

I would like to make it very clear that I am a strong supporter of Israel and the Jews, although I am not happy with any religion taking positions against homosexuality since that is greed and lust for power taking the guise of God’s will. Still, Israel is a much safer country for homosexuals than any Muslim nation — or neighborhood.
